From 2/25/2006 in London, with Rachel Barrell, David Shannon, and Matthew Cammelle.
Watch the dancers closely - one of these is not like the others! You can also spy the elusive ‘Hula Girl’ among the dancers as well.LOL there’s a Hannibal Slave Girl. Oops! I wonder what she was supposed to wear?
I looked around during this scene, and my guess is that she was supposed to wear the Man/Woman - she wears a cloak similar to his and does the same menacing dance choreography with Christine.
I have this image of the costumers running wild backstage, screaming, “Where’s the Man/Woman costume! Where is it?! Nevermind, put this on!” and throwing the slavegirl costume at the dancer.
I thought the Man/Woman was worn by a guy though?
…oh God. It IS a man. In a Hannibal Slavegirl costume.
This is priceless.
I was wondering why he didn’t have boobs.
Ha, even the camera kind of follows him for a few seconds - I think the person recording was just as confused as we are.

And last, newest, most rarely seen, and, in my opinion, oddest: Bacchus.
According to POTO Costumes, it first showed up in the Canadian production and popped up in Argentina. I can also say that it popped up in Germany, since I saw it in a bootleg I have.
He looks like an overgrown blueberry.
The end of costumes! Forever. I suppose. I’ll toss up a few more pictures, maybe put up a bootleg, but yes, it is over!
And now, back to more interesting Phantom stuff!
Better look at the Feather Lady.
There appears to be decorations and patterns in the front. Oh, and she apparently has a little half-mask as well.
Almost finished with costumes! From Germany, the Feather Lady!
Her dress is black and white, but I can’t really tell what else is going on there. It seems to be split into sections (not sure if they’re actually separate or not) with white fringe around the edges. She also wears boots and a cute little hat.
Number 2 of the rarely seen or photographed masqueraders - the Executioner.
The costume consists of the executioner’s hood (not seen here), a flesh-colored bodysuit with fake “tattoos” over it, and a bottom portion that is sometimes a pair of pants, other times a long skirt, and which varies quite a bit in pattern and color. In this one, the executioner also has some kind of armor plate around his waist.
And an ax. To commit executions with, of course.
One version that’s rather different - the Denmark one. The London one is also somewhat similar.
Also, forgot to mention the funny red wig that comes curling to the front, and the half-mask.
Let’s finish up ‘Masquerade’!
Number one rarely seen costume - the Tweedledum. Most versions of the costume look very similar to this - big ruffles on a blue jacket of some kind, which is over a yellow shirt of some kind, with white pants and tights.
The Pirate costume from the UK looks very different, color, pattern, and material-wise. It almost reminds me of the fops in Il Muto.
Nearing the end. Tomorrow, the costumes that are rarely seen.
