I’ve kind of neglected my Tumblr, haven’t I? Oops. Well, let me try and rectify that. Here we have a sketch (by Maria Bjornson) of the Gibson Girl costume. Perhaps it’s just me, but I seem to be having trouble finding the costume in my bootlegs. Odd, that. From POTO Costumes: The boyish appearance of the costume above, worn by one of the female dancers, consists of a stripy red and white waistcoat under a blue jacket with yellow lining and red deco. The shorts are yellow with blue trims, and blue tights and black high-heeled boots are also worn. A tilted straw hat is also worn, as well as a half-mask.
